10-11 weeks suppose to be male. Some of his behavior seem male to me but, but some don't. I've never had a male so i don't really know what to look for. I did get to meet his daddy, but I'm not sure when to expect him to start looking more roo-ish. Just wanting a second opinion here.

It's still a little early to be certain but as of now I would say it's a pullet judging by the small comb & wattles and lack of pointed feathers in the hackle.

Thanks that what got me wondering, I'm not even seeing signs for potential new hackle feathers or anything. Daddy had a golden hue to his hackles, though i can't recall the tail color he was really pretty thought.

I've been joking with my husband that it would be funny if Roosty (that's what the kids named him) turned out to be a girl, and Chicka our 1 week only lavender hatchling was a rooster

So I talked with my friend that I got him from. He's 12-13 weeks now with no obvious change. She said to give him 4-6 more weeks, so I'm really hoping her line just has late bloomers. He is a from a US show line but I'll have to ask her again what line he's from.

So i wanted to post some new pics of my lavender, I'm not sue but I'm finally seeing what i think might be saddle feathers, and his tail (though it might be hard to see) is a darker color then his feathers I'm thinning the start of his rooster tail. I'm still not seeing the pointed hackel feathers yet though. So i just wanted to see what you all thought he's about 18-19 weeks now. Unfortunately my lavender chick had red waddles al ready so I'm thinking i might have 2 cockerels
