Cockerel with Pasty Butt??

Nelms lying on the floor of his cage with his "chin" on his perch watching "The Wrecking Crew" (Amazon Prime). Since my dog has figured out the least dangerous path of negotiating our frozen wasteland (vs. refusing to go outside due to constantly slipping/falling) and I have given up on doing actual work, today has been much less stressful for all of us!

Good news! The chickens were able to spend most of today outside - and get some dust-bathing in - and while Nelms still has some residue in his hind feathers, it's significantly reduced and definitely not blocking his vent. While we're predicted to get more snow over the next couple of days, the Cold Weather Advisory has been lifted, so hopefully we can get back to a normal routine.
