Hi, so I have 3, 4 week old chicks (all supposed to be pullets) and I noticed that one of them (white leghorn) has a much bigger comb than the rest but however it is not turning pink at all. I know that leghorns have big combs but I am not allowed to own roos in my area so can’t help feeling worried. Can anyone help sex my chicks?
1.white leghorn-Luna
2.blue Cochin-Penguin
3.cuckoo marun-Fluffer

As long as the combs remain yellow orange you are okay. The next week or two should tell.

The place I got her from said that she was a cuckoo marun but both breeds look pretty similar so they could have gotten mixed up.

I’m fine with either breed but nice to know I bought the breed they were advertising! Also do the other two look like pullets or are they too young to tell

Generally you can tell by 5-6 weeks, so give them another week.
