Here is an update:
They are en route from a sorting facility to the pickup location now. The USPS lost them for most of the day yesterday and the first time the "showed back up on the radar" they were in the wrong city/facility. They are about 35 miles from their final destination now. They are saying the box will be delivered by 9:00 AM. If that is the case, they will have been in the box for 44 hours. Hopefully that is not too long. Their "new" momma is waiting with a syringe and gatorade to shove down their throat if needed. She has been giving them an ear full for sure.
I am remaining optimistic. I know chickens are amazingly hardy. I will update with the results in a couple of hours.
