Cockerels not Crowing yet.......

Ok so my wyandotte cockerels will be 16 weeks Monday....I have 2 of them....any ideas why they AREN'T crowing??? They are both definatly roosters

Give them a couple of more weeks. They should start crowing about the time your girls will start laying.

Yep, there's no definete time that they start. Have had them start at 5 weeks and have had some not crow till they were 3 or 4 months!!

My 24 week old barred rocks are still not crowing, thankfully!! I have waaaay too many of them. ....stan

My RIR is 4 days shy of 24 weeks and he is just starting to get that scratchy crow but he is already breeding my hens. By the way that's him in my hand on my icon the day he hatched.

My EE roo is 17 -18 weeks old, He crowed
once about 4 weeks ago and we haven't heard
him since. DH says to just wait! He'll come along.
