I have 21 chicks, and they are nearing 4 weeks. I identified a couple cockerels and quite a few pullets, but I have some tweeners that I am attempting to prepare for. I'm not sure on the breeds, likely cochins. Of the millefleur, I already identified my rooster.

This
is the one I am questioning the most...

And
the one on the feeder...

These two are definite cockerels of those breeds for comparison - Batman and Superman.

That black and brown one is a mystery- seen next to superman

Questionable on the top left. All three blues on the bottom likely pullets and superman no the bottom right.

I would appreciate any input on gender and comments on my breeds. There are two ring necks and 5 guineas if you were wondering

I'm thinking pullet, but I'm not sure.

Top left bird (with just head showing) is a cockerel. The blue bird in the bottom left is a cockerel, too.

If those 3 you are sure to be cockerels end up being cockerels, I will probably have to eat them or something… There are just too many roosters and not enough hens in this world!

Speaking of which, I need to buy some hens since even if I ate those 3, that leaves me with 3 roosters and 15 hens, and 1:5 isn't good enough! I am definitely playing favorites with my roosters, Batman and Superman are too cool, and then the millefleur roosters are just too pretty to eat...

Also, I am thinking of getting some standard sized hens of the larger varieties. Since overbreeding is the issue most of the people say happens with too many roosters and not enough hens, I was thinking some bigger hens could really make that more of a challenge to the roosters than anything!
