well actually... i've seen a lot of very small type A seramas around... some with great posture... here's a horrible picture of one... it belongs to this mexican dude that lives a couple of blocks away from me...

microserama.jpg

horrible picture, but he has great posture and stance... the only thing i didn't like is that he has like an afro problem... LOL... but that's how that man likes them... he likes the vaulted skull or weird hair look... but other than that, he's a great looking serama... he stands up tall, head all the way back... crows like a squeak toy... smallest chicken i have ever seen... btw, he's also fertile...

Out of curiosity, what DOES he weigh? Grady has micros that are fertile and they don't get any smaller than that here!

anyways... the tail feathers are super short... now every type A i have seen around on the forums and at people's houses don't have that tail... they have round and long sickle feathers, and a long wide tail with 7 or more feathers on each side...

i don't want to put up pictures of american seramas on here because they might belong to one of you guys... LOL... but look at the ones that were already put up on this forum... i've been looking at the malaysian serama standards, and they say that color is 0.5% of the points... LOL...

looks like us americans just like long pretty colored feathers and full tails on everything... so it's hard to cul a serama with a huge fan on it's butt... i would want to keep it myself... LOL... but still... i kind of like the malaysia look a lot more...

Those are the birds that made me want the serama, I know that in the beginning stages Jerry had mentiond that he tried to breed the extreme out of the bird, I guess a few pop up here and there, great little animals. Gumbi i like that little rooo of you neigbor, totally cute!!

what kind of scale do you guys use to weigh them...?

this guy is the smallest creature i have ever seen... right now, he's at this other dude's house, seems that they are "stud"-ing him out to different hens... if he's that much of a rarity, i might ask him if the guy can stud him out to one of you guys... but, the owner is... um... how can i say this... he's as ignorant and stuburn as a mule... he loves the crested look, and loves barred... he actually made this dude happen... i don't know how... i think you have met him... well, he has talked about you and your birds.... his name is alfredo i think... old mexican guy with no shame... LOL... HAHAHHAHAjdkas;jdfljasdf... i can't stop laughing... but he's cool, and loves his small chickens...

also... i believe that his original stock came from you kate... he told my friend that he got the original breeding pair from this guy that got like a trio from you...

bah, enough rambling... i'll see if i can weigh him, and ask him what he thinks about studding or even selling him...????¿

me too... i love them little birds... i wouldn't care if they were huge, but i would just want that sharp tail and posture... actually, i see austin with some nice birds like that... well with nice short tails sometimes... like those white ones that are being auctioned off here on BYC right now... but again, breeding and not having 100% control over color or type would stress me out and eventually drive me mad... LOL...

I have figure out how to produce one of those.....let me perfect the type on my flock first then I concentrate on the size. At what price do you think people will pay for one of those??? The prices in my earlier post are for the birds only, Jerry S. spent the total of 60G to get 135 birds from Malaysia into US.

i dunno... doesn't jerry sell them for like 500 or some other $texas amount of money... i would want one, but wouldn't want to pay for one... HAHAHAHA... i'd even want a class C if it had the same body, feathering and type... those are some sexy sexy roosters...
