Coco pop seramas Thread !!!!!!!!!!!!

And lastly your annoying me with all this talk about me saying this and that, when everyone can see from the post in this thread. What I am saying because in reality all i said was i dont care about the so cal show because if you look tell me which bird won and who was its owner and who was the judge to those birds and then not give credit to jerry and diane and grady and all those great breeders that started all of this. And yes seramas has come a long way from the first CC show but if it wasn't for them doing all that they did for this breed we would not even have seramas in the U.S. for every one to enjoy. So who are you to say what i say and didn't say. Needless to say you guys are very close minded cause you keep telling me things that i did not said.

so...

if i get a roo from kate... a hen from austin, and another hen from joey... breed them, keep a nice hen, breed it back to the roo... then keep the a good pair out of the resulting clutch... take them to a show and win a ribbon...

who do i give it to...? kate, austin or joey...

BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHGLKDJSl;fjkdlfjsadjf;sldfa....

because obviously, it isn't my line to begin with amirite...? so if my porcelain OEGB that i'm working with wins a show, i have to deliver the ribbon to barns in OK...? since they aren't "MY" blood line... right...?

Some of the show results are posted on the SCNA website and I am sure you are well aware of this because you have very recently posted on that forum. You have been informed that Joey's cockerel took Champion in the first show, my pullet took Res. Champion. The second show, Amy's birds took Champion and Res Champion. Austin took Champion in the junior division in both shows. Joey bred his bird himself. I bred my bird myself. Amy bred her birds herself. I am not sure about and cannot speak for Austin. We are the breeders of the winning birds. We are all aware of who has done what for this breed and communicate with those individuals on a regular basis. We give credit to our ancestors but only for so many generations back to be honest. I do make it a habit to thank and praise my great great great great great great grandparents for coming over on the Mayflower! I think we are all greatful to Jerry, that goes without saying, come on now. But Joey deserves the right to take some credit as do Amy and myself for breeding several generations of birds on our own to produce the fine quality birds we have produced. Ken, we have been doing this for quite some time now and as a "newbie" you need to learn when to listen and when to speak. Sorry but that needed to be said......

Now, I'm outta here and I'm so over this backyard chicken stuff......

blah blah blah

Ken i still want to see the quality of the parents if i was to buy a chick, i am not just in it for the color, but color with quality conformation. that is why showing is important, look at the SCNA board and you can ask your favorite name of the day Jerry he will sayfirst type, then color, we like the cocopop color we all do but what the brood stock looks like is also very important, So please when you do have the time post some photos of the chicks parents you may get more takers on your chicks than you want.. If you hold on to your chicks until they get a bit older, say 6 months and they are coco pop you can ask more $ for them aswell and better judge their conformation.. you can also keep a few chicks and breed them and see if they produce as well as their parents, then yes you can say they breed true and you can be the serma god.

why when all you guys on the same band wagon in SoCal and I dont care right now to hold on to them cause if they can breed them once i believe they can again and why ask more for them Im not here to make more money off them just here to sell them to ppl that dont have this color and if I do keep them even later on I will still sell them for the same prices cause I did not buy these but breed these myself so $$$$$ is not what you guys should be into Im just selling them cause I cant take care of so many cocoapop seramas at one time and Im not in it to become serama god or bs you want me to do I do what I want. They are my bird I dont tell you what to do with your bird I do what I like .... lastly you can play your guessing game all you guys want and what bird I have but if the band match the breeder thats All I need to know period and correct me if Im wrong joey champ bird is just F1 so how can kate say so many generation and speak for joey ?????? F1 tell me if im full of that then lastly we will see if they sell or not if not you will get to seen the end product if they do then wait for the next batch from the same pair ....

well said kate, but i hope you don't stop visiting BYC because of this kid... some of us know how to respect other people and love coming on here to share the wealth of information each individual has...

wow... i wasn't there and i know that she didn't judge her own bird... there were other SCNA judges there... if you don't believe me, go look in the pictures, you'll see...

i'm also over this thread... it turned into a world of fail because of you... first we all explained to you as simple as possible what makes a cocopop, and you still don't understand anything about it... i do get tired of having to correct someone that doesn't make a single effort to learn about the amazing serama breed... i don't own a single bird, but yet here i am explaining to you what makes them tick... LOL... i have seen you in other threads talk bad about austin and kate's birds in the past... i didn't like that, and i made a note about it with someone else... i remember when you got joey's breeding pair, and started PM'ing people if they wanted to buy them for more than twice as what you paid for them... you even had them for sale, and took down the pictures... you told people that they came from tommy from tommy's pet paradise... i still have all of those emails and PM's of people telling me... you think no one talks to eachother... we are a close group of hobbyist... i will try to watch out for my friends as much as possible... at the meet you told me that the pullet was 25 bucks, and when i went to your house you raised it up to 70 bucks i think... i asked you what happened to the 25 dollar hen, and you said you sold her already... i am not an idiot... i can recognize a dun double laced partridge with 6 points on her crest (i have a thing with chicken crest)... how many of those do you think they are...? you then told me that the spangle hen you had came from grady's cocopop breeding project... the next day i find out that she's from joey... LOL...yeah, i'm laughing... because all of that is a huge joke...

go ahead and take people's money... oh well... we all over pay for a chicken at one time... but i am done helping you... now it's clear what your motives are... you're only in it for the money... you won't even try to show any of your chickens at a show, or put up pictures because if there are more pictures of them, then you can't lie about where they came from later... i like our socal BYC enthusiast club or whatever... i don't want you swindling my friends or spreading hate/rumors... i have no patience for ignorance or trickery... so please stop it (and i asked politely) or else... (lol)

anyways... i don't want to see this thread locked... after talking to some local breeders and seeing what they are working with... i think someone will start producing true cocopops within the next three years... LOL... i know it sounds like a long time, but they are advanced in the color more than i thought... joey and cara are doing an amazing job... i'll see if tomorrow, i'll make a write up about breeding chocolate and dun... right now i'm tired and my eye hurts...
