I could not watch that movie. I'd seen a similar one starring Julie Newmar years before. The theme such as Chucky is nothing new and has been played out to death.

'Chucky' and 'played out to death' in the same sentence is very appropriate - scary dude, indeed.

That must have been a subconscious statement.

I don't watch the horror movies anymore. They're just to gory and poorly scripted.

I close my eyes during CSI and other shows that show the gore too.

I, too, do not watch horror movies - heck, that stuff might be for real. My family knows my 'dislike' of Chucky, and every Christmas I get a 'Chucky type' present. I burned the last large Chucky doll, but right now a small Chucky knife in hand is staring down at me from the upper left part of the computer desk ------------------------

That's terrifying!
Chucky came out when I was pretty small, now to this day I have an issue with dolls in general... *shivers*
Especially ones with knives, ice picks and what have you. Thankfully those are not common, or I'd burn them too!
