Coffee's ready...

Good Morning, my people.

Overcast and in the low 40s, we are expecting rain this afternoon, changing to snow. Nothing much though...maybe a few inches but it depends on when the rain starts. I don't think the ground has been dry since September....6 months of mud.

Time to get my first cup....work always has a lovely Starbucks Breakfast Blend and they brew it strong. Rocket fuel....

Good morning from Arizona,

I am having Kroger (Fry's) Brand, "The breakfast Blend" I like it.

Looks like I will get another day of Sun Shine. We are to get more rain this week end. I remember how the rain is in the East and end of the country. You do get sick of mud and damp cold. I think that you really need coffee at all times on the stove. I used to drink coffee all day when i lived in Mi. I drink about 4-6 cups in the morning, living in Arizona.

Sure wish I could send some sun shine to you all. I will send vibes This is some crazy weather this year!

I have to go in to town this morning. Bummer! But I do love driving my new car.

Hello from middle Tennessee. We woke up to snow this morning (they predicted a 20% POP with a chance of snow flurries). I call those people "weather fore-guessers" and usually plan for the opposite of what they predict. I just finished up the Kroger French Roast and am trying to talk myself out of making another pot since that means I would run out of cream and I can't get down the mountain in this snow to get more. Oh well, I'll just rethink all my plans for the day. Noticed one hen is barebacked this morning; guess the roosters are bored also, so I'd better make her an overcoat. Hope everyone's weather is better than mine.

yes it sure is beautiful here... we found our little
corner of Gods country.
have to get out to my flock and get the chores done.
warm oatmeal coming up missed the Wednesday treat day,
but I dont think they know what day it is at least I hope
not. Its cold , and cloudy here..again..
maybe more snow on the way..

Good morning chicken wranglers
My, my spring is on a roll here should be 50 tomorrow. I dont know about you guys but my pasture is so muddy that I almost got stuck trying to back down a hill. Now when you are trying to back down hill and your 4 wheel drive truck wont go that is muddy! We ran out of coffee here at the shop and the guys had to buy their own for a while, oh well seems just to me since I have been supplying coffee for 12 years. You un have a great week end,Oh yeah my father had his pet scan and his tumor is shrinking and we feel that that is good news!

The Kroger/fry's breakfast Blend in NOT rocket fuel. I don't do rocket fuel. I came with a built in rocket motor. If I drink that stuff, I go off the charts. You have never seen one person move so fast.

Good Mornning all, Having my second cup of coffee
and have the morning water and feed chores done. it sure is
cold, 18 this morning.but the sun is out and bright. and the coffee is hot.

Congrats on the good news, Carl! We'll keep your dad in our thoughts

The feeding and watering is done and now to a second cup of cofee. We, as of a few days ago, now have chicks in the bathroom! This is where we brood them until it warms up a bit outside. We have 10 speckled sussex, 10 ameraucana, 5 brown leghorn, and 8 black copper marans! Woohoo! I am SO ready for spring! We set a local record for snowfall during the month of February but it's mostly gone now and temps should be up close to 50 by the end of next week! Bring on the mud! Time to start thinking about the garden as traditionally, I've always planted an early crop of green onions on March 15th.
