Coffee's ready...

Good Morning People,
Fresh hot coffee and fried eggs are in order for this morning. Cooler weather, upper 80's - low 90's, still no rain.
Enjoy your day

Good morning everyone from Semora, North Carolina. Me and my morning friend (a strong cup of foldgers) are waking up this morning.

We had thunderstorms last night that cooled this AM off but alas I am looking at 95+ day today. *sigh*

Howdy everybody

So it is 95 plus again today and I can not remember the last time we had any rain.

It was so hot yesterday - - - That I did not even let my birds free range because there was more shade in their coop than there is in the yard.

Today - - - I am drinking coffee and sewing. I am not going outside unless I have too ! !

Come on tropical depression - - - head this way and BRING ON THE RAIN ! ! !

I dug a hole 3 feet in the ground yesterday and never hit water. In south Florida, I would hit water at 2 feet during the rainy season. North Florida does not seem to have a rainy season

Math ace if you had the skeeters here like we do you wouldn't want rain. Temps are cooler though.

Finishing up the coffee and gotta mow some grass. Then drive to Buffalo to pick up some furniture from DD who is moving to Houston at the end of the month. They found out the apt. complex neighborhood is called Gunpoint instead of Greenpoint due to the crime and now have to find a new place fast.

DIL and two kids are staying at a friends place for the day so things may be a little quieter for a few hours. Just GS is here and he's ok. 6 mos. old but his dad is here.

Have a nice day folks.

Good Morning all, coffee getting ready, dogs have been fed, Finches and Parakeets are screaming with delight and joy that the sun rose another morning (my take on all that chatter anyway!

and have a full day planned. Barn needs cleaned, darn Alpacas think pooping and peeing in their barn area is A-OK and i have news for them!!! The poop is easy, its the liquid that gives me pain. Youngest daughter is expecting a baby boy anytime now, and if he doesn't decide to move things along, she goes into the hospital in the morning and will be induced. I am the other GD's babysitter (12 and almost 5) when this happens. It's a 50 min. drive so gotta get packed this morning for that too. All of you have safe, blessed, and healthy day!

Night all, spent the day with Dd and went to an antique store. Huge place and bought a crib for Darcey. She's due at the end of next month. Very heavy metal thing. Plus some books and gifts for my Dd. She moving to tx with hubby next week. Houston for geometry teaching.

She was supposed to move to a complex call Greenspoint until they found out it was nick named Gunspoint cuz of the neighborhood. They got a new place now hopefully safer.

Good lord I don't think the chicks from march are ever gonna lay. My first Ee's.

Well take care.

Coffee is brewing and the sun is rising on another steamy day. Maybe I should have iced tea, the coffee makes me too hot! Still don't know how many new roos I have... I'm getting kind of impatient. Lots of cold water in store for the chickens today. Have a good one everybody!

Good morning chicken wranglers
got home from scout camp friday night. It was wet and hot all week, rain, thunder and upper "90's" could not sit still without sweeting.I slept in a canvas tent and by wed everthing smelled like must.I sure missed the wife and kids and" chickens".
The only redeeming thing was that the coffee was free and plentiful. I have to be candid ; beer would have been better but it would set the wrong impression on all the young uns.
I am going to order 50 RR's and 50 leghorn pullets today. Need more chickens..Have a great day God bless!

Karl, to bad your not near me I got chicks hatching and hopefully pullets. Dels.

It's been warm and wet here to and I hate it. Leach field is flooded. Skeeters are plentiful if they were chickens we could eat for ten years. Hate to spray stuff cuz it kills the good insect too. Wouldn't spray near chickens of course.

Think I'll make some decaf even though it's evening. Coffee sounds good. Don't drink alchohol. Long family problem many deaths due to scerosis.

Hope you all are well til next time
