Ok, so it's been between 35-41 degrees the last 2 days AND drizzly. Meaning everything in my backyard is wet, except for inside the duck pen. Do I let them out, or are the conditions too bad. I know they can handle the temps, but what about the fact that nothing will be dry for them to walk on or lay on, plus they'll be drizzled on the whole time, all day? But I feel bad leaving them up.

If they can go back into the warm, dry duck pen sometimes, they'll be fine. :) You're pretty safe.

I know that logically, they can, but they never do go back! Until dark, then sometimes they go back on their own, sometimes not.

They will be fine and much happier being let out. My pekins would always rather be in the rain and mud playing than warm up. They are ducks and have a nice water proof jacket on at all times that is very warm ;)
