Cold temps further endanger Florida's manatees

Looks like boats are doing more damage than the cold. Interesting article. Cool how they gather in the warm waters outside the electric plant

As I have posted before, I am originally from No.Fl...my DH and I used to fish the jetties in No. Jax area..there was a female manatee that swam around where I always fished..she was so tame and docile..As a child we used to go to Manatee Springs in the summer..which was home to many manatees...I just love them!! Sure hate to see them in danger..but you know, winter in Fl in the late 50s was more like it is now..they did fine then..I guess they have acclimated to the warmer winters of the last 20 years...???

Ours hardly glow either... and once you cut off the second head and trim the feet off they really taste like chicken...lol
