cold water and chicks

Hi guys,
My chicks are about 12 days old. I still warm up their water when I refill their waterer twice a day.
We have well water and it is very cold out of the faucet. At first I was making it about 90f now I have been just taking the chill off.
When can they have cold water?

I would say they can have cold water now. It won't stay that cold for very long anyways will it? I don't think it will hurt them.

Huh? I never warmed ours water up.. Didn't know to. They're all about 3 months old, and doing great. I'd say they'll be fine. especially with as hot as it is.

Gee I never worried about the temp of the water either! You are quite the mother hen... LOL. If you are very concerned, just keep a jug of water room temp and use it. You know.. you could always use bottled water... LOL.
