6-8 week old fully feathered chicks.... Wyandotte and silkies & meaties
I have 16 of them along with 4 monster mutant meaties and my itty bitty cochins and silkies that arent much bigger than they are
in my barn(more of a 15 X 10 shed w dirt floor. Should they be ok at 47 degrees? THey are dry and have been out there for about 2 weeks. There is so much mud and water and rain right now I cant even get out there... THey are dry the barn is the highest driest spot here right now.... but the temps... I cant Get into the barn to put a heat lamp in there and I dont know if the silkie roo and chochin and silkie hens will let them snuggle up to stay warm...... This is the coldest we've gotten in weeks and are at abour 5 inches of rain or more so far....
