I don't make plans, just hope the grass doesn't grow at fast as last year. The man that used to cut it quit. The new guys want to cut every week. My grass is mostly weeds it takes 2 mos. for it to be worrisome. The men will cut for $ 100. This is better than $ 35. a week for grass that has barely grown between cuts.

Before, another new guy came out and charged $ 30. when he left the grass wasn't any
shorter and no grass clippings anywhere.

I can imagine you are tired of it, being from Ohio. You guys have gotten hit really bad this year. Down here in S. Florida, its been such a mild winter. If I could ask you for SOME of your cold weather, I would. Just remember, it won't last forever. At least that's what I tell myself every summer here!

I’m with you guys, I was never tired of winter yet but when we lost power Sunday afternoon and didn’t have it back for almost 24 hours later. With temps dropped to low 20s, the house temp dropped to 48 without any heat and waterers for 30+ chickens all frozen.

Aye Caramba!! All of us slept in the living room to keep warm, Can’t use the toilet, no water for cats or dogs? Since we were so spoiled that everything works on command, and had to drive 10 miles to get water for pets and chickens, while needing to go to work not able to shower nor brush my teeth, I know it wasn’t a big deal for others but for modern former city folks, it’s the end of the world LOL. I’m ready for spring - warmer weather PLS. :fl

I SOOO can relate! I was ok till a couple days ago. I weathered the vortex, the foot of snow and the 60 mph wind gusts with good humor. But now I've had enough. My mood has taken a tumble and I'm just tired of cold. 2-4 more inches tonight and snow in the forecast for the next week. I'm hoping the calendar turning to March will help...the light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel month. We frequently still have snow in March and cold weather, but at least the end is in sight.
