I have mixed batch of turkey poults, about 1 week old. One of them looked like it had a cold yesterday. It seemed to have a discharge coming from its eye. When I picked it up, it blew bubbles at me. So a clear discharge, slightly slimy from all openings.
I said: Dangit! and culled it. Now another has the same thing. I am not in the mood to cull a turkey a day, but I dont want to do the antibiotic thing. Does anyone know whether this is just a cold that needs to wear itself out, or should I do something drastic? I am really worried that it is more than a cold!
Any advice?
