Collapsed vent.

    Hello everyone. It seems one of my white leghorns has a collapsed vent. It is very red and swollen, and I can see some white discharge. I have never delt with this before. All of her feathers are missing back there. I separated her from the rest of the chickens. Should she be put down. I hate to jump to that conclusion, but it looks very painful. I heard you can put it back in, but I have never done that before. Any help is greatly appreciated.
