This weekend I will be collecting feathers to send off for sex testing. My first time doing this. I have 4 peafowl to test. I have read conflicting advice re: pulling feathers
from the chest or from the bottom...which is correct or does it even matter? Anyone?

Where are you getting the sex testing? Do they tell how to do it?
Following the directions from the testing company is probably the best idea.

But if they have no instructions, I would probably use breast feathers because they are more likely to be clean.
