"gang up?" astral asked ark. he'd never heard that term before.
"it means everyone is teaming up and going against Zeph together" ark explained.
"Oh" astral replied, curious. he was fascinated by the fact that the others were all against zeph and he seemed completely fine with it.

Kat flicked her ears in astrals direction she had sensed him a few times.she always tried to imagine what he looked like,just for the fun of it.She turned her attention back to the battle.

Just as neo and skyfire approached zeph, the end-of-day bell sounded, signalling all students to return to their dorms for the night.
"awww!" ark whined. "just when it was gonna get interesting!"
"yeah, that really sucks" zeph agreed, but smiled. "tomorrow?"
"you bet!" ark agreed happily.

Kathryn nodded"I'll see you guys later."she said and walked back to her dorm,Sarah slowly followed

when they were finished, they closed up the stables and walked to their dorms. ark walked tiredly into her dorm, making sure astral was through the door before she closed it.
"Zeph seems very strong" astral commented, "and he did not seem bothered by everyone 'ganging up' on him."
"yeah, we've got a pretty good team, but he's probably the strongest of us. and he's a healer. he could make a big difference to whether we win or lose" ark agreed.

Kathryn walked into her dorm with Sarah, She shut the door and flopped down on her bed.She sighed and stood up,Sarah curled up into her nest and yawned.

ark propped herself up with her elbow, looking at astral.
"when you came back earlier, you mentioned you'd been observing people. what sort of stuff did you observe?" ark asked, curious.
astral opened his eyes and turned to her. "many things" he replied generally.
"like what?" ark pressed.
"one thing was a group out on the field. they sat on the ground, like this" astral said, and floating slightly higher, folded his legs like little kids in a classroom would. then he put his hands up at his sides, and ark figured what he was talking about.
"i believe it is called 'medication' " astral commented. ark couldn't stop herself from laughing.
"why are you laughing?" astral asked, confused.
"i think you mean 'meditation'. 'medication' is to do with medicine, something totally different" she explained, trying hard not to start laughing again.
"oh" astral said simply, and stood (?) straight again, floating at his normal height.
ark layed back on her bed, folding her arms behind her head.
