Here is a few pics of my Colloncas I hatched last year. My favorite rooster Sailor. He has produced some awesome offspring this year.

My Colloncas hen Lilac, wearing a saddle. She is raising her second set of babies right now...

My crazy Quechua hen with her beau.

And my personality filled Olmec Oyster. I adore this little hen.

Love these birds. I highly recommend them.

Some youngsters hatched over the summer.

Those are SO beautiful!!!

The "winter faced" or "bearded" (or "fuzzy face") chick your referring to is indeed a Quechua.

The two Quechua are both bigger than the Colloncas. The "gray" one runs out in front of the others and acts like it is gaurding the others

...oops... nothing aggressive just out there to make sure things are going all right. I am thinking that one might be a rooster?

Yashar, is there a difference in feather development between the males and females?

I love your Sailor! You are just up the road from me. I went to the state fair for the first time in September. Of course the Poultry barn was the furthest from the gate we entered. Tromped all the way over there to see the Araucanas. There were only two bantams - a black and a white. The colloncas look so much like the CF Araucanas I have. so far, though, these seem much friendlier.
