I love to paint, so I always paint the inside of my small coop with different colors, but I want to know if its making a difference with the chickens. So are chickens colorblind? My girls are 1 1/2 years old, and theyre Americanas, i dont know if that info is useful or not. Thanks!

No, not for the most part. I'm sure the're some individuals but chickens have highly advanced eyes, they see more color than the average person...helps them find food and predators.
