Color Faverolles are these?

Thanks for the updates!

I forgot about the term "mopsies" already... I started refer to mine as the muppets somewhere a long the line..

I like the contrast of the darker ones too... but I like those really light ones that the exhibition breeders produce also.... I'm just conflicted , lol

I like that you can tell your's apart... I have 3 that look like each other, four that are darker, but like each other, and one that stands out on here own due to her beard.

My son actually named them that, he named 1 mopsie but we couldn’t tell the difference at a young age so they turned into The Mopsies and named them 1,2,3 HahahA I feel terrible about the names but it’s stuck HahahA

I’m really starting to love how different chickens can look, it’s amazing even within 1 breed. I just love it!

Your girls are so beautiful!! I have a dark Faverolles pullet too, and I think she's gorgeous, but I've been trying to understand how her colouring came to be.

I've got a thread started in the genetics section at the moment, hopefully someone can help me figure it all out! I'm starting to think a whole new colour variation of Faverolles is beginning to evolve...
