Would like for someone to share the 'color' breeding genetics of the Silkies.

EX: If you breed a Partridge to a Blue the chicks 'should be' .......

Thank you!

Cheryl

Most likely you'd get 'mutts' and/or whats being called 'blue partridges.

There is NO WAY to explain the entirety of Silkie genetics, or any other genetics in one email or message posting, as the possibilities are completely endless.

Breeding chickens is compared to making soup in a very famous genetics book written by Sigrid Von Dart from the Netherlands, and thats pretty much what it is.

For ease of breeding, stick with pure colors to pure colors, as its not like mixing paint. You can't mix white and black and get blue or grey.

Have you tried to play around with the chicken calculator?

Those cheatlists tend to not to be found...
