Color ID

Can anybody tell me what color this baby might be? Seven weeks old. Mother White, father India Blue
This doesn’t look like my other India Blue babies.

I’m not sure about all the different colors etc. this is a young male that we had no clue was old enough to breed. I’ve always had India Blues and Whites and those are only ones I know. I will look up the black shoulder and compare.
I hatched this egg in incubator. I was trying to see if fertile and low and behold it was. Mother was laying eggs all over pen. Laid about 30 in all but never made a nest. Mother and father don’t belong to me. I think they are both just “of age”.

Oh goodness. It acts just like a male strutting itself around. How can you tell sex?

I would be thrilled if it were a hen.

I will have to read up on all this split business. I don’t understand it at all.

PS. I have an African Grey named Zoey. She talks better than I do!!
And I also raise standard Cochin chickens.
