Would it hurt to trim less than two week old chicks wings due to them trying to fly out of brooder box? They're trying to roost on box and we're thinking of building them their own coop to put them outside. We have also considered taking the buff and Brahma back to their owners and moving the babies into the big coop? We have a roost for them in the brooder box already.

So how about I've been moving my Brahma and Buff out into a chicken tractor for them to get some safe rummaging. Today I go to move them and I always "talk" to them as I'm walking up, well the Brahma squats down as I open the door and waddles down close to the ground and allows me to pick her up with no problem. I go back to get the Buff and she immediately does this before I open the door? Do you think they assume I am the rooster and are being submissive?
