Is this chick starting to show a spangled pattern? Or will it be a wheaten color like it's mother once feathered out? The white on the tips of the feathers made me wonder.

Both parents are supposedly purebred but neither is mottled. Is spangled just another term for that? If this chick turns out mottled/spangled that means mottled dna is in there a generation or so ago? It’s brown and black mottled, not wheaten. I assume it’s a crossbreed, if you said it’s got a wheaten mother.
So will it still have white speckles or just be a possible carrier of the Gene?If both parents arent mottled those white spots will disapear and it will be split to mottled
If neither parent is mottled and i think spangled has mottled but could be wrong then chick cant be split. Im not sure how spangles work so may or not be spangledBoth parents are supposedly purebred but neither is mottled. Is spangled just another term for that?
