i think he just thinks the silkies are too different. i hear a lot of people who are unfamiliar with silkies confuse them with cats & dogs

he likes the game varieties though. what silkie colors are there anyhow? how would one go about creating a new color variety?

introduce the genes.... but to be honest, not many colour/ pattern look good on fuzzy silkie feather.

omg i know, me too! after being an active BYC member for a few months, i notice that silkies are pretty popular for show breeders AND as cute pets. i'm leaning more on the cute pets side.
