Last spring I got a dozen hatching eggs from a guy that were supposedly from bourbon reds. One egg was solid white and the poult that hatched was solid yellow. Did not look like the rest of the poults. The guy also had royal palms so I figured it was just a royal palm poult.
When it feathered out it was solid white but as time has gone by it has turned much more "red". So of course I figured it was a cross. Just wanting some opinions on that subject...is this a cross or just a totally different variety?? It's my daughters favorite turkey and I'm happy it is a hen.
