I agree with @The Moonshiner. I will add, Silkies are not recognized in any columbian variety, nor any red variety. If you are looking to show, I would seek out a breeder who actually shows birds and understands their APA standard. Now if you wanted to show them open class, you could enter him and not be disqualified, at least at my fair. At mine, they essentially looked at the condition of the bird and perhaps a tiny bit of body type. They disregarded the variety. As a little kid, I once got best of show with an Easter Egger pullet that I had entered as an Ameraucana
