I posted a little while back inquiring about a dark colored pulse that I hatched out. The five chicks hatched was one dark and for white which made sense because I was told the hens they came from were Royal Palms and the Tom was possibly some sort of bronze or darker color.(they guessed at color of the tom). recently the chicks I thought were Royal Palm have started developing black with brown/tan edged feathers. Assuming that this is not a royal Palm trait what could these be? And still trying to figure out the oddball too lol. Thanks in advance for any help:)

When you do this, it is best to continue posting in the same thread so that all the pictures are together rather than making a new thread.

Color id

I found that when I did that in the past I don't get any responses. Also the previous post was about the dark colored one

It is best to have all the pics in the same post. Poults can often be identified from their patterns after hatch, not so much from their intermediate feathers and then when they have their adult feathers.

ID pictures need to show the whole bird. Preferably a full front photo, a full side photo and a full shot from behind, looking down at an angle.

The white ones hatched yellowish orange and one had a dusting of black. I don't think I took any clear ones since I believed them to be royal palm but I can look when I get home

And the smallest white and brown are five

The brown color is typical for Sweetgrass turkeys. The look very similar to Royal Palm at hatch.

The left is the brown one shortly after hatch and the right would be all the ones that hatched out yellow but are starting to get beige and black patterning
