Anyone a doctor that is attending that can write me a doctor's note that I was sick that day. .... PLEASE.
I've really been wanting to go. However, I work that day and the only way to get out of it is with a doctor's note. ** sigh **

I will be bringing Russian Orloff chicks and Golden Sexlinks; 1.5 weeks old. It looks like it will be warm enough with the right precautions. High is listed at 77F so it should be in the 70s all day.

Oh, and I am planning to make a chicken enchilada casserole.

. It's a recipe my sister sent me and I keep meaning to try. My oldest sister is the Master Cook in the family so any recipe of hers should be awesome!

My DH says i am no longer allowed to make fun of him for wanting to go to Comicon!! (geek..geek.geek...geek) I am bringing him! You all can raz him for the air time they gave him with our chickens on Ice Cold Gold (Animal Planet, episode 3) ! His chicken stalker is a silkie named Debbie!!!

Busy preparing for ChickenFest.

• Games are made.
• STAFF t-shirts are ready. They are bright orange.
• Name tags are printed and ready.
• Guest sheets and poultry breed logs are ready to print.
• Hot dogs and buns are in the fridge
• Koolaid and Lemonaid are ready to be mixed up
• paper plates and plastic utincels are ready to go.

This afternoon I will have time to straighten up my chicken yard, then tomorrow afternoon will be the final cleanup in the back yard. The porta-potty will arrive Friday afternoon as well. Saturday morning we will start EARLY to get things set up.

Please park on the EAST side of the wood fence. Please do not block the driveway or access.

Maybe we should have a meet up at the Con! My youngest's Yoda costume arrived last week and my oldest's wearing his Chewy costume again. DH is trying to talk me into a costume too.
