He ya'll,
We are almost at the start of chick season and we will be replacing/adding to some of our small flock. We are getting rid of 4 girls and bringing in 7 in ones. We are at teh picking stage right now and want to "mix it up" a bit with breeds. We would love a little input.
Here are our specs:
- They need to be cold hardy. It gets chilly here.
- They need to be good to excellent in laying. (thats why we have them)
- eggs can be medium to x-large, but bigger the better!
- They need to be somewhat freindly cause my wife treats them like children.
We have some thoughts but would love to here from you guys!
