Hatch Update: I'm a few hours into my 21st day and I have 2 solid pips and 1 that just broke the shell. It's still early so hopefully the loss of power won't be a huge problem.
Outstanding. It sounds like you may be in for a long evening. Good luck on the hatch. The pics of the three week olds are adorable.

Quote: Oh, waiting for pictures of the little ones!

So many new posts, and I still can't get the multiple post thing to work......
Hope the hay barn at Falcon Feed is ok, used to get my hay there all the time!

Wendell, that is a big deal!!!

Good luck at the swap! Be sure to post pictures of your new chickens!

Many others I am sure I missed, but brain not working very well right now, been working on our website most the day.

Hey Scott, do you know what the times are for this swap? I used to live a mile down the road from here and I can't think of where they would put a swap. At 52nd and Ward there's an empty lot ??? And these streets are on the borders of Arvada on the north and Wheatridge on the south.

The swap at Wardle and Sons at about 40th and Wadsworth is pretty good. Not sure when this one is but I know Eric Fullenwider was there last time I went. Several sellers.

Was Fullenwider selling chicks?! He's supposed to be calling me when they're available....

Hoping to get some chicken projects done this afternoon. The weather is supposed to be nice, no basketball games, no Doctor appointments.....We'll see how it turns out...

Good Luck Pozees on the shed delivery...again.....

I drew up my concept drawing for the last shed.. thoughts?

I really like that relaxation area...but suspect there needs to be a place for a cooler filled with beverages. =)

Pozees: Good Luck Today!!!!

hello to those in Colorado, Im in the springs and got my first flock back in August... it's a lot different and smaller then my grandmothers flock, but they are still very fun. i wanted to know about the small animal swap something/event some of you are speaking of. i have a leghorn (i think that's what she is) that is about five months old but she is small and not laying yet. i do not want to give up on her just yet. but i would like to see an event like this just to see how it works. is there a website about the swap, so i can get info and locations?
