I buy my seeds at Golden organics in Arvada.
They are not cheep but have a good variety of grains all organic.
There is a big thread about fooder for chickens you need to check it out.I do this for my horses, rabbits chickens geese and ducks works really goos and saves on food cost as well.

first time i have seen this but it looks good. i wonder where to get the seeds in a large amount and how much they cost. i would like to try it out and see if it works. we normally get cat grass as a treat for the rabbits but this will be better. (i am not much of a shopper so sorry if it's a stupit question)
I found up to 25 pounds on Amazon. Ebay is definately not the place to look. I would sonsider hitting up the feed stores to check. If I can get enough, i may plant my yard in this, as I pretty much have 2 acres of dirt at the moment. The roots may help hold some dirt in place as well, definately cant hurt.

http://www.outsidepride.com/ I bought two types of clover for erosion control and for the chickens. This'll be the first year I try, really hoping it covers well.

Hey guys - I'm new here and am ready to join in on the BYC fun. I am looking for some hatching eggs that hopefully could hatch around easter. Any suggestions? Thanks a ton in advance!

Ok I need advice guys. 12 chicks in my brooder they are 3 weeks and I stay at home so I easily change they're water 10 times a day and they still NEVER have clean water. Now they are duming their food dish as well. I bought a larger feeder today that hangs. The little hook made it to high so I rigged it with some string. I also bought some of the nipple waterer's not sure how your suppose to set them up in the brooder I again rigged with string. Has anyone used these. The chicks seem to be figuring out how to use them. They don't seem to leak but when they're drinking water drips onto bedding. Do you think this will be an issue. I just don't want to cause harm when I'm trying to make it better for them.

Yup. Got all the shed footings poured!

Nice! We finished the last of the ridge on the roof this morning, thank goodness. Would have been done yesterday afternoon but we had a surprise visit from Bob's niece and her companion so we reluctantly called it a day to spend time with them, they were only here a few hours. We haven't seen her in 10 years, in which time she finished her Bachelor's and Law Degree. Was nice to spend some time with her, and that was more important than the shed.
