Lots of adorable, sweet, cuddly Bantam Cochins . . . how many would you like??? (That's if I can haul my _____ out of bed that early!)

ahhhhh colowyo....we all have the poultry sickness....when the thought of socializing with other poultry people at 6:30 in the am sounds FUN?!?!?!....I guess I got it bad.
BTW--am bringing a barnevelder mix cockerel, pair of mille cochins, a couple marans (splash copper & blue copper) pullets
---Am telling myself am not coming home with anything (repeat this 3x)......ummmm.....unless Coopa has a blue hen I can't pass up who looks like a little volleyball...but THAT's it

lol, yeah. unless someone has the parts necessary for a homemade incubator, and some standard cochin eggs, I believe we are relatively safe in not coming home with anything

mainly this is a chance for us (me) to network and meet some people from here and get contacts! If i can get whatever eggs I need/want from in state instead of having to order and ship I'd be a very happy person!

Wouldn't that be awesome!!! My hatch rate from shipped eggs this year has been TERRIBLE!!!!! I mean TERRIBLE!!! I haven't totally committed to coming yet because we have soooo much going on at home this weekend, but if a bunch of BYCers are going to be there, I'm not sure I could pass up the chance for a group hug!!! How will we know one another? Name tags?! Yellow t-shirts?

Arrr...that is over 2 hours from me. I don't do mornings well enough for that.

I have 2 welsh harlequin ducks for sale if anyone one is interested. A drake (TJ) and a hen (Abby Cadabby) hatched in June. The hen is LOUD. Just a friendly warning. She is cute though and will eat out of your hand. The drake is her half brother (same dad, different moms). He is just starting to get his drake feather. Pretty easy going with the girls though. No outrageous behavior. He is a little people shy. $20 for the pair.

The one for sale is on the left. That's the hen.

I need to get new photos and will try to post them later. I am selling the hen because of the loud factor. I live in a suburban neighborhood and my neighbors houses are really really close. As for the drake, I already have one. TJ and Cartman get along fine though. No fighting or squabbling. They are both good boys

. TJ and Abby are great foragers. While my other butthead ducks are picky about what veggie scraps they eat, those two just happily eat whatever I give them. They really like grape leaves, wild purslane, dandelions, and of course lettuce, cabbage and peas.

PM me if you have any questions.

I think that would be great! If the thought would have been expressed sooner I could have printed badges at work, something like

Still thinking about wearing my very suggestive t-shirt that says "got chickens?"! And I will be the one trying to drown myself in coffee!
This is my first time at the swap - so I'm not familiar with the parking lot or any good meeting places. Not even sure how big this place is. I Googled myself a map, so hopefully I know where I'm going.
