Colorado

I posted about this last summer :)
Hail netting, is made for hail. It will hold snow.
We got about 4 inches of snow on May 1st and
it was wet and heavy and it held it.
It feels like fishing line woven into a weave.

The company I get it from is called American Clayworks
they are located in Denver. They sell it on a roll that is 29 feet
6 inches wide. I think it is about 3 dollars a foot.
Here is the website and phone number.

here are some pictures of this years garden. We put the hail
netting up before we plant and take down around September.
Hope this helps! Wendy
nope that is not DIA airport out there, it is the hail net suspended
on two poles in the middle of the garden. And I did wrap it around the
tree too.

That is an amazing garden setup!

I never thought I'd say this Wendy, but I may actually have more grass than you do

Beauty get-up BTW.

Actually P we are never going to grow grass again. We seeded the whole back yard with clover at the end of April. I picked 4 types clover to landscape around the fences (crimson, purple prairie, red, and pink) and then the whole "lawn" is going to be white dutch clover.
My 30,000 bees come today!!!

P- this is for you.... this was the backyard on Nov 2 when we bought this
place. We have cleared trees, stump ground, rented a skidsteer to
level the ground, put in the sprinklers, built the garden, the coop, the apiary, the
green house IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS.
We are sooo tired of projects.
Hopefully the clover will come in soon, so it will be green.

The only reason there's any grass growing whatsoever is because I shut the upper pasture off all winter. The horses are leveling it as we speak. Clover sounds nice, does it grow in rocks ?

P.S. That's not a horse in the pic there. We are very frank in Franktown, so just call me Preston
