This was usually a foot wide creek in the neighborhood! But covered the entire field. Actually had a mostly dry day and alot of sun but now getting more rain

We have power again for a bit. Tired of being rained on. At least I stocked up on feed last week cause we are not going places this week that's for sure.
Samsr, worried about you..... it is so not looking good from up here. I can hear the helicopters in Jamestown, 2 miles downhill from us.
Later guys and stay safe!

Unbelivalbe! We got two and half inches of rain and I am seriously tired of it already. Can't even begin to imagine 14 plus inches that Boulder got.

ETA Jamestown always seems to get the worst with flooding! Stay safe!

Glad to see folks checking in, very worrisome week. Hopefully we will soon hear from samsr. Shylee I hope the rain tonight doesn't amount to much. I heard on the way home tonight that I-25 was closed north of Denver, and that Weld County was flooding. Mtn Margie, GOOD THING you stocked up last week!

Lots of water running in Fountain creek. As much as I've seen.
Are you able to get in and out of your place? Midway recorded 1.7 inches last night, those roads have to be getting tough to navigate, if not impossible.

Hope all are doing okay with this weather! If anyone needs help finding animals shelter (or knows someone) due to evacuations for flooding please PM. If I can't help I will try to find help for them.

Samsr- are you ok? i keep watching the rain and am wondering if you and your flock are doing ok> Wendy

My family and I are doing fine as well as the chickens. The chickens have two runs. The one on the east side does not have a roof on it. The one on the west does have a cover. The chickens are high and dry. 10 eggs out of 14 laying hens today. The hillside that goes to the creek 35 feet from my back door needs a little repair and more concrete put down the hill, but all in all we have weathered this storm pretty well. Now , I didn't get much sleep last night, but we are doing well. Here is what the little creek had turned into when I woke up on the 12th. On the 13th, the water was about another 18 inches higher and the leaning tree in this photo was gone. I think I posted this one another posting also.
