Colorado

I dont thik it is an us thing at all. Just the few that are screaming for attention. I think i better stop there. I could ramble on about conspiracy theories and a bunch more things, but i will finish in saying my good wishes and prayers go out to the affected families.

A garden at 8500' elevation, with raccoons, deer, lions, fox, squirrels...I give!! lol That's why I'm part of a community garden at 7500'. I do have mint, chives, bleeding heart, pansies, high altitude ferns, currant bushes, every flower that doesn't taste yummy! lol Doesn't help any that the creek runs thru the back yard, providing a water source. Deer really enjoyed my mom's geranium this spring, summer, fall :(

I'm a Human Services major at Metro. No secret that Douglas County is the highest in mental health issues. Downtown is easier to see, face, address. Track runner, debate team? Just my preliminary thoughts, so sad, sounds like he was big achiever that didn't know how to deal with a demotion in debate. So sad for everyone. 5 blocks south of my daughter & granddaughter's place. :(

We are at 8500 and we have tons of grasshoppers. Some years are worse than others. You can have all of mine. They eat my garden and flowers. Sometimes we go on catching sprees and put them in the chicken pen. The birds go nuts.

This chicken thing is fun. Since my son took his girls home, I've been getting 2 or 3 pee wee and small eggs per day. This morning I opened the door a bit after 6 and had no eggs. At 8:30 I went back out to replace the frozen water and found 2 eggs. One measured out at extra large. An awesome surprise. The second picture is my normal catch. The big blue in the first picture was this morning. Big difference.
