Colorado

I have been breeding REAL Ameraucanas for quite some time. Three unrelated exhibition lines. No EE's, no fakes, my Ameraucanas never are bred with any other breed on the ranch. Just saying.......................... :) And gee, yup, I'm in Colorado, even though most folks think that the Western Slope is in a different state. :) :) :) :)

Doc
I am very excited to hear that you are in CO! I hope that with some collaboration we can get some chicks from you!

Oh, I am just not in the mood for any more snow storms. I want it to be the end of April, right now.
Last night the wind was whipping so hard I thought a tree would come down on top of our house. We left
the turkeys out because it wasn't going to be below 15 degrees.

Spring where are you!????

I'm right there with you! I do not want more snow, but it doesn't seem to matter, cause that's what we're getting. I just hope we don't get too much.

We are collecting eggs, starting today, for the next ten days from our Cream Legbars. I can't wait to start hatching them. Our first hatch was Cream mixes, and silkies. Got four silkies and two cream Cochin mixes...they are adorable! Was fun, and very easy with an incubator that does all the work.

It's been snowing here all morning long and it doesn't look like it's going to stop any time soon.
