Ok I went and looked at it again. All dry now. Here's some pics. What do you think? It's got the dark strip on the back and head like a girl but has the yellow spot like a boy. DH says it's transgender.

Wow, that's not what mine look like. Lol. But, I'd have to guess boy, because he's got a clear spot. The girls sometimes have light dusty looking mark, but nothing that could be called a spot.
He's pretty dark too, all of my boys so far have been really light.
You could post him in the Cream thread and see what they say though.

I was searching it and found that the UK SOP calls for a small clear headspot on the girls and that they can show on some strains of legbars here. I found a couple pics online of both boys and girls that look like this. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Hello Everybody.
I will put the add in the sell thread and on crags list as well but I figure I will let you know here as well.I will be getting some Sulmtaler chicks for GFF this week, as well as some Bielefelder chicks,I will have a few well more than few extras in case some body wants some.
I will get some Rhodebars pullets and olive egger pullets form Papa brooder (from BYC) as well.

-Is there something like a BIN for chicks here for just the Colorado people kind of the one with eggs or can we put them with the one with eggs as well?

I don't know anythinbg about the Rhodebars, are they an auto sexing breed? You might check with Pozee if it is ok to put them on the Colorado Hatching thread??

Honesty, either way it goes, he/she wouldn't be great for a Cream Legbar breeder, because the auto-sexing seems to be a little messed up. It should be very easy to tell, but those in the Legbar thread would prob know right away.

You can put chicks on the hatching eggs thread for CO if you want, when I have a minute I'll try and start a new thread for chicks/chickens for CO, wish I had thought of it sooner Once I get it running I'll post a link so you can put your ad there.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll tell me to cull it. I'm only going to use it for olive eggers though so I'm not worried about the auto-sexing. I'm going to look up the UK SOP and see what it says. If it says the girls should have it then I'm thinking she might be great for breeding. I think she looks like a girl since she has the dark V and chipmunk markings.
