That is a good idea on the foam over the windows, let me know it if works. I don't care if mine crow, no neighbors to bother, just me!!! lol
Hope you have some EE chicks hatch soon!! My first hatch;s were dismal, but you live and you learn. I was reading on one site some people put their eggs on day 19 into plastic containers with holes in the top for air, they claim the humidity stays high this way, and the chicks don't dry out to fast and stick to the egg shells. I may try this with my first hatch to see if it helps, although at our altitude oxygen is a concern, so may not work as well here as it does in other states.
