Colorado

Woohoo! Have my first broody hen (black australorp). Totally naked on her chest. She was letting everyone else in to lay eggs so before we moved her to isolation (we call it the "maternity ward"), she had gathered up 9 eggs. Not that we need any more chicks but if it makes her happy ...

BTW: we still have a beautiful blue purebred ameraucana rooster who needs a new home. Anybody?

AND still have 12 chicks to sell.

E-mail me.

I assume you meant either the chicks or the rooster, and not our broody so ... here's a pic of some of the chicks (taken Saturday morning):

Here's a pic of Humphrey, our rooster, taken in February ... he's grown some more since then:

Let me talk to my husband about him. He is beautiful and I would love to have him. Just hoping if I do he will be okay with my other rooster. I will let you know! You live close to Pueblo don't you?

In rural Elizabeth. About 1 hour 30 min northeast of CS and 1 hr SE of Denver.

Let me know. He absolutely is beautiful. Take him for a tryout and if he doesn't work out, you can pass him to the next person. He's a good protector and food-finder.
