Colorado

No it would not, you have pets and pretty chickens, I have meat and eggs birds, different scenarios for different folks. Like granddaddy taught me, " Michael there are enough ways in this world for Everyone to have one of their very own" He was a big time live and let live guy. He never went to church as a grown man, but he was the most spiritual person I ever met.

Advice well worth remembering and passing on.

I don't know, myself, but I believe there is a forum on BYC that deals with getting city ordinances changed. You might be able to stall enforcement. Start the procedure for changing the law (you'll have to look it up on BYC), then file for an extension - or some such thing - noting you've started the process, and make an appeal. I'm not a lawyer or even legally brilliant, but there ARE people on BYC who ave experience with this sort of dilemma, and I believe you can find some help here. Do others in your neighborhood have chickens, or are you alone in this?
