Those broody hens sure like to go by their own schedule don’t they. If any chicks hatch maybe you could sell them. Don’t know how you feel about that.

They had had stopped laying eggs after my tiny pullet that was living with them died, so finding out she had been hiding at least a week's worth of eggs from her and her sister was surprising enough. That she's been sitting on them well enough that they're developing is bananas! I'm going to see if she's serious about sitting on them before I move her.

Nutri drench is a supplement. It has lots of nutrients that helps boost the birds system and can help give them a bit of extra energy. You should be able to find it at any feed store.

Well, if I leave them for her to hatch, she can’t stay in the pen she’s currently in. That’s were the 2 roosters from last year are. I was hoping to get them moved out of that pen next month. This is why I’m not sure what I’m going to do. Would it be bad for her if I moved the eggs to an incubator?

Taking the eggs won't necessarily break her broodiness. There's lots of posts about doing that if that's what you want to do. If you really don't want chicks I think that would be your best option. In most cases you can break the broodiness in a couple of days and the hen goes back to normal behavior without any issues. You can try moving her. If she abandons the nest you don't have to worry anymore.

I’ve decided that I need to sort out my roosters before I even think about more chicks, so I’m going to take them out of the coop before they develop any further & work on getting Pip to “unbroody”.

If you didn't see my other thread... I brought these 2 girls home. Hoping for the best.

I want one of my ducks to adopt them and be their mother. The first attempt was a fail, but she was not aggressive, so I am going to try at least one more time. They are in a brooder for now in the house. Also I cannot seem to get brewers/nutritional yeast or niacin that isn't time release anywhere, so hoping they do well enough on the Flock Raiser. If I order something online, it usually ends up at my PO Box, in which case I can't get it any time soon either because I will be working during PO hours, ugh.
