I put my special orders through my local feed store and they use privet, it its in new Mexico. I was happy with the Delaware I recieved from them several years ago... they don't have a fancy web page but seem to be responsive and the chicks arrived in good shape.

All this talk of chicks is getting me inspired. I did around 175 started pullets last year. Only ended up with 3 cockerel. Amazing odds. I usually start my first batch by now so they are producing by June.
I will 2nd Privett. They are the closest hatchery and will cut down a day on transit thus reducing shipping stress loss.

We were wanting to get bantams and LF this time, did you get bantams from Murray?

no we only got LF. I have heard cackle is the best place for bantams though.

most hatcheries only have Easter Eggers ..... but claim otherwise. I have raised many of the Ameraucaunas from them and been very happy with the eggs and personalities.

You might be able to get the greens near Delta.. the guy who developed them has a facility out there.

We did Murray McMurray last year and were very satisfied- only lost the “mystery chick” and had only two with pasty butt and that cleared up quickly.

My order from them did really well. Only lost one out of 16. However, I ordered females & ended up with two males (the mystery chick really was a mystery in all regards!). So, there’s that to consider - might get a boy or two sneak in with the girls!
