Colorado

Don't offer to start. Make them come to you so you're not wasting your time. You shouldn't have trouble finding someone in the Springs but do cross post on the Denver one as some people only look there and if they're in Parker that's not a bad drive.

Need some help from my local Coloradans!

I've got 6 older hens in need of rehoming, downside is that we have had past members of this flock test positive for Mareks. None of the girls are sick or showing signs of stress, the Mareks postitive test was years ago. I am hoping someone who has also got a Mareks resistant flock (or knows someone who is looking to just have a few very socialized pet chickens) would be willing to take them. Here's the thread with pics and more info: https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...ng-tough-situation-please-ask-around.1511703/

If you know anyone who might be interested, pleeease let me know! They are such sweet ladies and really need a good retirement home. :(

You may want to look up Broken Shovels and see if they have a recommendation for a forever home with Mareks exposure. She might not be able to take them, but would likely have ideas.
