I too missed the show. Is the bird shows annually or more frequent? My girls are slowing down but I also have 4 pullets starting to lay, another 22 that should be starting in a few weeks, and 18 older hens that will lay through even the worst of weather. I am looking for RIR roos either now or for the early spring as well as some white rock hens. Gearing up for the winter. Scored a heated dog waterer for the winter cheap at Walmart. Has anyone heard of using dogs to guard free range chickens? and if so what breed? We are having issues with foxes and coons. Thanks.

Big R in Falcon uses Privett too. My rouen from there was pretty nice. I sold him to focus on Welsh Harlequins, but I didn't have any problems with him.

Anyone need a Welsh Harlequin drake?????

Lots of WHs at the show. Beautiful birds. I was hoping for Ideal to tack on a small order of BLRW bantams. Of course Privett has bantam Dels-that could be fun.
