Colorado

Weird question....

I had a friend ask me if I would consider driving her Mom home to Colorado - from Virginia.
I've never been further west than Tenn so it would be an adventure.  She said that it shouldn't take more than 3 days to get there.... ?  Could that be true?

Sounds about right. I drove from Ft Lee to the Springs a few years back with a brief stop in Missouri. All told driving time was about three days. Maybe three and a half. I did run into a fair bit of construction though.

Google it. My hometown is in MI...its 23ish hours if you don't stop for gas.

Ok, here's one for all my encouraging friends, and the doubting Thomases on the thread.

TA DA!!!

It's GREEN !! Egg on right is a Dom (I think), just for comparison.

I just want to apologize to my EE, Beauty, for all the names I have been calling her.

I just did this drive this summer. Flew out from CO to VA, packed a friend's house up, from the ground up dirty dishes and all.... then rented a truck, drove for 3 days with 3 big dogs in the cab of a Uhaul.... spent 3 nights in hotels, got here on the 4th day. I say I've earned all my moving credits in heaven I deserve. Oh, and I paid for it all.... including the flights. YIKES... send her on a plane if you can! PRETTY DRIVE but O.M.G.! my experience was NOT good.

Well done on the EE egg! I'm still waiting on my girl "Tini" short for martini to get in gear, the other three girls are laying everyday! YAY girls!

Congrats on the cosmetology license Heather! Good job!

PS I have NO idea why my quote on the VA to CO thread didn't quote the right thing..... Doh...
