Colorado

Does anyone in the Boulder area have Buff Brahmas, Orpingtons, or Cochins for sale, not chicks but 3-6 months of age, pullets, for sale?

A few pictures of the Jersey Java cockerels if anyone is interested.

Native Coloradan here! I'm a newbie, and we don't even have our first chickens yet, but we're working on buying our first home in Englewood, CO. As soon as we close on a house, the first thing I'm going to do is put up a coop and start picking some chicken breeds. We're really excited! Keeping chickens is a life-long dream. We are already beekeepers and have three children. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Do you have an HOA in Englewood? If so check the regulations on chickens. I had such a hard time with this when we were house shopping, so few places allow them. I know some places the HOA approves but the city does not or vice versa. Or they are allowed but the rules are so ridiculous that it is impossible to comply, like in Parker. I am sure you have done your homework, I just don't want to see another person with covert chickens that does not have to be.

Welcome Butterprint!

On another note...
My blue and green egg layers seemed to have taken a hiatus from egg laying. Anyone else? Do I have a pack-rat with a blue egg fetish? Age mates are still laying and I am so wondering about this development. They do not get to free range that often but I guess I will be checking the raspberry patch now that the leaves are dropping.
Any ideas?
